Welcome to the Home Page of Woodland Voices Flutes. Here you will find high-quality, concert-tuned instruments inspired by the First peoples of this nation--the American Indian. We make no claim of Native American heritage in any way, nor have we ever. We offer our flutes in a variety of keys and woods at a reasonable price. At Woodland Voices we have only one level of quality, or in other words, we do not associate price tag with the amount of time spent voicing and tuning an instrument. The amount of care that is necessary is given to each and every flute so that it may play and sound as good as it can--without the hype. We let the flutes speak for themselves.

Return Policy
Woodland Voices Flutes are GUARANTEED in workmanship and materials as well as for tuning and playability. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of construction, the sound or the tuning of your flute, you may return it in its original condition within a reasonable period of time (10-14 days) for a complete refund of the purchase price, minus shipping. There are no restocking fees.

The Essential Flute

Western Red Cedar Mid G
When all that matters is the sound, Woodland voices offers the Essential Flute option in High and Midrange keys. By choosing this option, you may subtract $25 from the cost of our Standard Flutes. These flutes have the same careful voicing and tuning that all Woodland Voices flutes have but with a more simple, traditional look. Wood selection is Flute Maker's Choice with block shown and some possible small cosmetic irregularities, same great Guarantee. .
Custom Flutes:

Simply take the price of a standard flute in the same key and begin adding options. You may wish to choose your own wood, or go with a recommendation. From there you can choose a block, add end caps, leather wraps, a Wood Burning of your favorite animal, woodland scene, or whatever you like. We will work with you to make a flute that speaks to you in appearance as well as sound.

Here is a chart for figuring keys that play well together in 5th Harmonies:

Circle of 5ths

Clockwise is a 5th above while counterclockwise is a fifth below.
For example, if you had a low C, a 5th above would be a mid G and a 5th below would be a Bass F
G# is the same as Ab (A Flat), F# the same as Gb, C# = Db,
D# = Eb, A# =Bb, B = Cb, E = Fb, C = B#, F = E#

Options
End Caps--$30 each (now sleeved)

Woodlands Leather Wrap--$50 ea.
(Colors Vary)

Laminated Block $25
